Tarkin is a genuinely awful person, first and foremost and given the nature of how he functions in his canon and just the state of the Real World in general I don’t want to bring him into proximity of anyone who's just trying to have a chill time.
He's a space fascist, an authoritarian military leader, a mass murderer, and as of disney canon is a fairly realistic depiction of someone who was systematically terrorized into being that way from early childhood by his eugenicist family.
Additionally there are aspects of possible interphobia/transphobia + reproductive trauma in his backstory depending on where I play him, in Ryslig for instance he’s a CAFAB transmasculine person who was forcibly sterilized. This isn’t something that’s come up yet outside of one specific event, and it’s not something he'll be chatty about so…you know.
Please don't hesitate to speak up, I knew when I applied as him that there would definitely be people who couldn't interact with him. Your reasons are absolutely valid and require no explanation. Like even if it’s as simple as ‘being sick of Star Wars' that’s more than fine!
